Bins are provided by Waste Connections, our contracted waste hauler, but they are delivered by our Public Works department. To request a new bin for replacement of a damaged bin, please call Customer Service at 704-233-4411. Bins will need to be completely emptied prior to being changed out.

Bulky items may be picked up depending on what the items is. If it’s an acceptable item, you will need to notify Customer Service at 704-233-4411 so we can make sure the driver is aware. These items will be collected with a different truck but on the same day as regular pickup service. The general rule is that appliances, items with metal, or items over 4 feet in length will not be collected. Please see our Solid Waste Collection page for more information regarding acceptable items.
