Damaging Items to Pipes
Please be mindful of what you are pouring into sewer pipes. Fats, oils, and grease (especially from cooking) can cause damage to sewer pipes. These repairs can cost customers an excessive amount of money. For more detailed information regarding items that should not be put in drains, please refer to the Guide to What You Can and Can't Flush and Put Down the Drain.
If you have had a water leak repaired, save all plumbing receipts or invoices and submit to Customer Service for review. Depending on the nature of the leak, it's possible that an adjustment can be done on the account.
Annually, the Town of Wingate distributes a Drinking Water Quality Report that provides a snapshot of the water quality in town. This report is distributed before the end of June each year. For residents that live within the Glencroft subdivision, please view the report specific to that subdivision.
